As the Blue Elephant gears up to celebrate its twentieth year in 2019, now is a very exciting time to join the energetic and busy theatre.

There are several exciting part-time opportunities available to at Blue Elephant Theatre.

We're looking for:

Deputy Theatre Manager
This is a vital role within the organisation, providing essential support to the safe and efficient running of the theatre as an organisation, venue and community hub.

Technical Manager
This is a new role at Blue Elephant Theatre, made possible by National Portfolio Funding. The holder will be an employee of BET, responsible for overseeing the technical operations of the theatre.

Duty Manager
This is a vital role within the organisation, running the venue on performance nights and acting as key-holder with responsibility for the management of the theatre in the absence of the Executive Director or other staff.

Trainee Producer
This is a new role within the organisation, made possible by NPO funding. It is currently envisaged that there will be a new post-holder approximately every six months. The aim of the role is to offer a Producer/Events Manager at the beginning of their career an opportunity to develop producing, programming and event management skills working alongside BET’s experienced staff team. The post-holder will be specifically responsible for programming, producing and running two scratch nights in the six month period to offer opportunities to very new emerging artists.
